Community Involvement
City of Riverbank Technical Advisory Committee Low Impact Development
David Hoberg and Barbara DeLaMare were invited to join this committee to discuss strategies for removing barriers and integrating Low Impact Development (LID) into sustainable community planning, design and construction for the City of Riverbank. Strategies for integrating LID into community-wide planning efforts and taking a neighborhood, multi-site approach to LID implementation for in-fill development was shared.
Modesto Construction Industry Liaison Committee (CILC)
David Hoberg participated in the CILC for review of the City of Modesto Public Works Department Standard Specifications revisions. The goal of this committee is to receive input from the Engineering Design community during the process of revising the City’s Design Standards.
City of Modesto Committee for Update of the Guidance Manual for New Development Stormwater Quality Control Measures
David Hoberg was been asked to join this committee to discuss and make recommendations for the revisions to this manual. The primary goal of this process is to revise the manual based on the requirements specified in the City’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit that was reissued by the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region.
Young Modestans For Jobs (YMJ)
Barbara DeLaMare participated in YMJ to help our community utilize our young, educated citizens to grow and strengthen our community through economic and job growth, responsible development, and strong community bonds.
